#4449 crosses the Celilo Bridge across the Portland River in Washington State. Taken from the west bank #4449 is heading south. This bridge holds special significance, as in 1994 a Railfan tour at the NMRA Convention in Portland Oregon, took us to the high bluffs on the east bank overlooking this bridge to watch the bridge lift for a tow boat, and then a BN train pass over the bridge to head fro Wishram Yard.
