All the above cars except the Parlor-Obs were smoothsided and delivered new for the Shasta Daylight. The Parlor-Obs was a corrugated sided car, was originally built for the 1941 Morning Daylight and had the orange window band higher above the windows to match the larger windows of the Shasta cars.
