Southern Pacific ALCo Hump Slugs

Building a powered model in any scale smaller than perhaps S Scale, may be a little tricky. The gear towers weight or motor may not fit, due to the low height of the sheet metal carbody, but then spliced between 2 powered SD38-2's, it may not matter.

Really you only need the chassis and trucks, in a pinch just the trucks would do, as you need to make a new carbody. HO scale ALCo trucks may be available as spare parts from Atlas, Challenger, Tiger Valley or Stewart.
