The C-50-8's were delivered in 1979 from PACCAR.

Details:

  • diagonally braced smoke-jack,
  • no end-plate on the roof ends,
  • square cornered bay windows,
  • side and end windows have square corners,
  • two battery box doors, two windows this side,
  • air receiver under bay, two louvered vents for the lav. only one window this side,
  • full length straight sill with cut-out for the axle-hung generator,
  • delivered with:
    • single 'bug-eye' marker lights,
    • aluminum-framed windows screens,
    • mineral red with orange bay ends and end walls, those upgraded after 1980 received orange stepwells,
