Between 1955 and 1956 Espee receieved 70 Alco S-6 switchers. Two distinct varieties were delivered, #1033-1090 (later #1200-1257) were used as switcher, transfer and branchline units if photo captions are anything to go by.

The second type were the 'road' S6's #4634-4645 delivered 1955 (later #1270-1281), these came with all the accessories that Espee considered were needed for road sevice; light packages, train indicators and MU capable. These seemed to have worked branchlines as well as the switcher units, so not sure why the different appliance package.
