SP #3025-3037 and TNO #289-291 were delivered in 1904.
SP #3038-3065 were delivered in 1906-07.
SP #3066-3069 were delivered in 1908 to the CYR&P in Mexico as #800-803. In 1909 they went to SPdeM, and sold to SP in 1912-13.
SP #3070 and 3071 were delivered to the Sonora Railway in 1908 as #850 and 851, they then went to the SPdeM, and finally sold to SP in 1913.
TNO #292 was originally Chicago & Alton #554, bought in 1905.
#3025-3065 spent all their time on SP, these and #3066-3071 (excepting #3063) were rebuilt, seven with and 38 without boosters, #3041 also had 73" drivers fitted.
#3025, 3032, 3036, 3038, 3052, 3057 and 3060 were rebuilt with boosters.
In 1927-28 four engines were rebuilt to A-6 Class, becoming (2) #3000-3003.
In 1930-31 seven A-3 engine boilers were used in building SE-4 class 0-8-0 switchers #1307-1313, and one more SE-4 #1314 was built in 1937 again using an A-3 boiler.
TNO #289-292 were rebuilt with 77" drivers.
All SP A-3's were scrapped between 1933 and 1952.
All TNO A-3's were scrapped in 1937.
#3025 is on display at Traveltown.
