SP Mk-8 class #3310 was one of five engines acquired by the SP when they took control of the E.P.& S.W. in 1924. It was converted to oil and moved to California. The story is that SP enginemen didn't like their rough ride. This loco was cut up in 1951. The photo was snapped in Tracy, California on March 20, 1949.
