Southern Pacific C-630


SP C-630 painted and detailed a heavy switcher.


SP's C-630's came in two versions. As delivered a mainline unit, and later they were converted to heavy switchers.


Modeling choices at the moment are:

  • For N Scale:
    • ConCor made a C636 that might be usable
  • For HO Scale:
    • a hi-hood Tyco model that is probably still around on secondhand tables,
    • and a white-metal kit by Tiger Valley Models.
    • Stewart C-630
  • For S Scale:
    • ?
  • For O Scale:
    • ?
