Cotton Belt SW9

Evidently the Cotton Belt SW9's were not delivered with MU capability, but were later fitted with this feature as well as hump throttles for working the Pine Bluff hump. The MU controls were of a non-standard type, so they could only MU with other Cotton Belt SW9's.

The SW9 is another locomotive model that was not rostered by the parent company SP.

Cotton Belt units were delivered in the scheme shown in the above photo.

Both TNO and SSW units were later 'rebuilt' into SW1200E's.
