Cotton Belt SW1200

Lifelike SW1200 #2251 (This locomotive was chosen as it required the least amount of conversion work and I had photographs available) - The following items were either added or replaced: handrails, handrail stanchions, horn, uncoupler lift bars, decals, antenna and the additional step at rear of cab.

While there has been plenty of SW1200 modeling articles, published in the mainstream model magazines, there doesn't appear to have been any specifically aimed at making an SSW model.

• LifeLike has released an SW9/1200.

HO Scale:

• Athearn has an SW7 that can be updated to an SW1200
• Con-Cor did make an SW7 that may also be of use.
• LifeLike have made an SW9/1200

O Scale:

• Atlas 'O'
