This information has been compiled from postings to the SP Mailing list.

The streamlined Sunbeam started service between Houston and Dallas on September 19th 1937 and had its last run September 11th 1955.

Initially and for many years they were pulled by specially rebuilt Pacific's (4-6-2's), but 1949 they were gradually replaced by PA-1's.
