DRGW bought 10 SW1200's for use as switchers and in local service, delivered late 1964/early 1965.

Early additions were side handrails and spark arrestors, footboards were removed and uncoupling levers were changed, as well roller bearings were added to most units.

Models:

N Scale:

• Arnold/ConCor once produced an SW7, sold through Walthers that may be of use.
• LifeLike has released an SW9/1200.

HO Scale:

• Athearn has an SW7 that can be updated.
• Con-Cor did make an SW7 that may also be of use.
• LifeLike have made an SW9/1200 - that would probably be the best choice.

O Scale:

• AtlasO has released an SW8/9, that might be updated to an SW1200
