Originally Central Pacific #237, this engine was built in 1882 but not put into service until 1884.
It was renumbered to #2050 in 1891 and scrapped in 1894.
Named El Gobernador which translates to "The Governor".
Dunscomb devotes a whole chapter on the history of this engine, and even has a photograph.
