#3769 was the last 2-10-2 built for SP, and was fitted with Uniflow valves and Walschaert valve gear in 7/1924, in service 6/1925. Caprotti valve gear was fitted in 1/1931, it was removed when rebuilt and reclassified as a standard F-5 in 2/1937.
