San Jose and the SF commute pool was home to many of the ESPEE Pacifics such as this P-6. The engine is parked near the sandhouse ready to move to the station to pick up its train. Photo from the collection of Gene Deimling.

Six P-6 Pacifics were built by Brooks for SP in 1913. In 1937 #2455-2457 found themselves sold to the T&NO, rebuilt to Class P-14 and renumbered #650-652.
